Ozzy's Picks: Paws, Purrs & Pet-Friendly Fun in Napa Valley — November 2026
Your local guide to pet-friendly adventures, community events, and giving back to Napa Valley's four-legged residents.
Meet Ozzy, the English Springer Spaniel of Napa! 🐾
If there's one thing my English Springer Spaniel, Ozzy, loves, it's a good adventure.
And since Napa Valley has so many wonderful places to explore, I thought it would be fun to give him his very own monthly feature!
Welcome to Ozzy's Picks, where we'll share local pet-friendly activities, places worth exploring, and events that support the animals who make our lives so much better.
Of course, not every event welcomes pets, but Ozzy believes supporting our local animal organizations is just as important as finding the perfect place for an afternoon walk.
Here's what's happening this November!
November 10 | A Toast to the Power of Prevention — Napa Humane
Join Napa Humane at St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery in Rutherford from 4:30–7 PM for an evening benefiting local animals.
Enjoy wine, appetizers, a silent auction, and an opportunity to support the important work Napa Humane does throughout our community.
Tickets are listed at $50 per person.
Ozzy's note: This one's for the humans! But it's for a wonderful cause, so he fully approves.

November 15 | The Real Cat Men of Napa Valley Calendar Release Party
Ozzy has agreed to share the spotlight with our feline friends this month!

Ozzy's Favorite Kind of Napa Valley Fall Adventure
Not every outing needs to be a special event!
November is one of the best times to enjoy Napa Valley with your dog. The cooler weather makes afternoon walks more comfortable, and the changing colors make even a simple neighborhood stroll feel special.
Here are a few places worth exploring:
Napa River Trail
A beautiful place for a leashed walk while enjoying views along the Napa River.
Alston Park
A local favorite for dog owners, with designated off-leash areas and trails where dogs must remain leashed.
Kennedy Park
A great option for a relaxing walk, open space, and some fresh air with your four-legged companion.
Dog-Friendly Napa Patios
Many Napa Valley restaurants and tasting rooms offer outdoor areas where well-behaved dogs may be welcome. Always check individual pet policies before visiting.
Ozzy recommends bringing water, cleaning up after your pet, and respecting leash requirements wherever you go.
Supporting the Animals Who Make Napa Special
One thing I love about our community is how many people are willing to step up and help animals in need.
Organizations like Napa Humane and Jameson Humane do important work supporting animal welfare, education, and responsible pet ownership.
Whether you're attending a fundraiser, volunteering, making a donation, or simply spreading the word, every little bit helps.
And if you're thinking about adding a pet to your family, consider exploring local adoption opportunities!
A Home Isn't Quite the Same Without Our Pets
As a Napa Valley real estate advocate, I know how important our pets are when we're searching for the right home.
Whether it's a fenced backyard, nearby walking trails, a dog-friendly neighborhood, or simply enough space for everyone to feel comfortable, our four-legged family members are often part of the conversation.
And they should be!
If you're thinking about buying or selling a home in Napa Valley, I'd love to help you find the right fit for your entire family — paws included.
Until next month, Ozzy wishes everyone a wonderful November filled with fresh air, fun adventures, and plenty of treats!
With love and muddy paws,
Ozzy, the English Springer Spaniel of Napa 🐾
